This exercise will be carried out using a combination of Unix and Midas scripts and programs. DAOPHOT (Stetson, 1987) is used to perfom the photometric analysis of overlapping stellar images. While some data may be extracted online from the HST archive, all necessary data will also be locally available. During the exercise, you should always take a look and try to understand how the programs and scripts work.
