This exercise aims at giving an insight into the analysis of crowded fields obtained using the Hubble Space Telescope. The ubvy HST WFPC2 observations have been obtained by Gustafsson, Ardeberg and Linde in HST Cycle 5. The scientific aim of the problem was the study of stellar populations and chemical evolution in the centre of the Bar of the Large Magellanic Cloud.
